Bearing fruit (deeds) that will last

Text John 15:16; Rev 14:13

Whatever we do or say is a seed that will grow to bear fruit. Thus, Biblically, fruit is the result of your labour or what you say. E.g. Galatians 6:7-10

Our aim today is to look at how we can bear fruit that will last.

Why you should bear fruit that will last

• So that you don’t waste your life

• To be useful to God and humanity

OUR TARGETS

Central Harvest Church must last till the second coming of Jesus Christ. How? We must obey Jesus regarding the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20).

Your marriage must last until death separates you. How? do your best not to divorce

Your descendants must last till the coming of Jesus How? Give them Jesus Christ (1 Kings 2:1-12)

Your faith in God must last How? E.g. Put on the full armour of God (Eph. 6:10-18)

How to bear fruit that will last

1. Remain in Jesus Christ (John 15:3;4;7).

2. Be wise builder: Apply God's word to whatever you (Matthew 7:24-27; 1 Cor 3:12-15).

3. You must please God ( e.g., 1 Cor 10:5)

4. Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for (2 John 1:8).

• Publications (daily messages, flyers, bibles, bookshop)

• Church planting and house fellowships

• Evangelism and missions

• Preaching & teaching (in Church, house to house, public places, ...)

• Training & Discipleship- Bible College

• Welfare and Counselling- Counselling Centre
