You go through phases of perfection when God is restoring you.

Text Luke 4:14-19; 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

We have established that humans do not have the grace to bring back what is lost; once there is a crisis, only God has the power to do so. And so Jesus was sent to restore people back to God.

Today, we shall look at how God restores us. This sermon will help you not to worry but cooperate with God to restore you.

1. Dry bones: lifeless people shall receive the life of God (Ezekiel 37:1-14).

The restoration of people who are in captivity, prisons places of confinement; because a
strong spiritual force has kept them there, but God says will I open those graves and give you life.

To be restored, which God alone can do, they must hear God’s word regularly (Rom 10:17).

2. Those who need more anointing to be a blessing to others (Ezekiel 47:1-12).
Spend time with God, praying, reading the word, fasting, church attendance …

3. Those who are blind cannot see good things in life (Mark 8:22-28). To see has to do with perception and understanding about God, reality, life, and spiritual things, or else you will walk in darkness, not knowing what is good for you.

4. People who became dirty with sin and infested with evil spirits (e.g. Ezekiel 36:24-32).

Themes of restoration

  1. The significance of hearing God’s word, which gives life, is that it will teach you what to do.

  2. Fellowship with God, for  His power and glory

  3. Restoration is a process going through different phases of perfection.

  4. Waiting on God to complete your restoration. When does God complete? When we finally see Him face to face. Therefore, don’t be in a hurry to leave His presence.
