Restoration begins when we come to our senses and decide to do the right thing.

Self-centeredness and selfishness destroy families, churches, work, and individual lives.
Family heritage and relationship issues
Family is very important. The family you come from can even tell whether you will have a good marriage. Jesus tells us that a person’s enemies will come from his own family (Matthew 10:36). Whatever affects your family will impact you. Godly family does not just come about; it requires determined efforts.
Being set free from what affects your family
Whatever affects your family will have an impact on you. Poverty, sickness, Spiritual problems, ungodliness, misfortunes (divorce rates, accidents, premature deaths...) Text Genesis 24:1-8; 28:1-9;
In these texts, Abraham and then Isaac ensured their sons married properly to keep their godly heritage safe. They did not assume that all would be okay, but they made a determined effort. If you are willing, with the help of God, you can put things right in your family.
Parents should set their children free to prosper. How?
Children do better than their parents in every generation, but this is changing.
Parents should raise children for God, not themselves (e.g. to pay their bills); God has a plan for them.
Parents should allow their children to marry early and to be independent
Parents should not hold a grudge against their children
Parents should allow their children to be committed to God
Parents should encourage their children to do better than them in life, faith, etc..
