Spiritual revolution in Britain: an abandonment of God, revival, or saving of remnants?

There is a spiritual revolution phenomenon that reveals that British people (the West in general) are changing the way they practice faith and spirituality: from worshipping God to worshipping other spiritual deities or none. Consequences: a decline in Christianity, a thirst for righteousness, a haunted society, people infested with evil spirits, Britain could collapse,... This sermon will help us understand what is happening in Britain and what we can do. Furthermore, this phenomenon could lead to 4 possible scenarios:

  1. A revival, like it happened in Nineveh (Jonah 3). What should we do for a revival? We, including our leaders, humble ourselves, repent and seek God (e.g., 2 Chron 7:14).

  2. Only a few people will be saved - the remnant (Romans 9:29; 11:1-5). What should you do? Enter into God’s kingdom (Luke 16:16; Acts 14:22); keep sharing the gospel, and tell them to repent and have faith in Jesus Christ Matthew 24:14).

  3. Continuous abandonment of God. With the above consequences, a continuous abandonment of God- Britain could collapse. Three sins have led to the collapse of societies: wickedness, as it happened in Noah’s days (Genesis 6-9); sexual immorality, as it happened in Lots days (Gen 19); and idol worship, as it happened to Israel (2 Kings 17:6-23). What should you do? Share the gospel and help the society to be godly ( 2 Chron 15)

  4. The second coming of Jesus Christ (Luke 21:27-28). What should you do? (get ready at all times, Matthew 24:36-42).
